Is Kansas City a Real Estate Buyer’s or Seller’s Market? Neither!
I have been telling my clients for over a year that the Kansas City Real Estate market is changing and that what used to be a Buyer’s market was rapidly changing to a neutral market. It finally has!
In November of 2011, the existing inventory of homes for sale in the Kansas City market was 7.3 months. In November 2012 the number dropped to 5.3 months, which makes Kansas City a neutral or “balanced” market with a trend that could soon favor sellers.
If you are a potential homebuyer, the right time to find great deals on a home is fading fast, and with mortgage rates at or near record lows; if you snooze, you lose!
